Journaling reads: I like to think I decorate in traditional red and green, but when I actually looked at the decorations in my home I realized how many different colors are there. Many of our ornaments were inherited sporting mid-century pastels. In addition, there’s our traditional Nativity Scene with earth tones and jewel tones predominating. We no longer put up a tree but have a small gold one and another lighted one for outside. Altogether, I think this photo that I took earlier in the year at the local flea market pretty much sums up our look.

This is really pretty and I like the photo you used for color.   Your tree is so  watercolor soft and I really like your embellishments and enjoyed your journaling.

What a fun display of your Christmas colors. That tree is so soft and pretty and love the little train. I really like the font you used for the title and the subtle border.

I like your pretty page. I have a small box of these same mid-century hues that were inherited. As a girl, I remember my grandmother's tree was always more pastel, especially with tinsel. Clever to use the flea market photo! I love your tree with the embossed background.

Thanks, Barbara! The font is Sunnydale but I forgot to credit it.
