My nana use to make this with a graham cracker crust and when waffle cones came along she changed her crust for a different  take on this Summer treat!

I love having your Nana's recipes Linda and this one sounds so refreshing for a summer picnic, except I don't like strawberries so might try with raspberries?   I really like waffle cones so the crust sounds delicious.   Your card is so pretty and I really l like the gradated paper you used.

Hi Marilyn, thank you so much! I think any fruit might work with just altering the amount of extra fine granulated sugar for each person's personal taste. I definitely would be interested to know if you try this recipe with raspberries.

What a lovely paper with the gradient and the swirls. I might have to use this soon - apparently my father-in-law has a bumper crop of strawberries coming on this year.

This is so pretty and looks like a real winner for a summertime treat. The waffle cone crust is a very creative touch. Nana was an innovator!

Love the paper you used. Looks like what's being blended, so pretty. Gonna have to try this, Our hot weather is just now starting and this will hit the spot.
