Thanks, Florida Granny! Yeah, I’m busted. I am a retired Early Childhood teacher (bilingual)– usually third grade. So since this lil guy is so precocious I took to teaching him. Here he’s working on his eye-paw coordination and his fine and gross motor skills!

One beginning of the school year, I asked the kids if they had any questions. One little third grader raised his hand. (I had had his older brother a prior year).

"Is it true, Ms. Burns, if we laugh at your jokes we’ll get good grades?"

<Giggle. Giggle>

"Well, honey, if you’re between a B and a C and you laugh at my jokes, I’ll give you the B. And if you’re between an A and a B and you laugh at my jokes I’ll give you the A. And anyone who tells you otherwise is not telling you the truth."

<feigned laughter>

Then everyone cracks up!
