This is great and your card is so pretty.   I like that it's your Grandmother's recipe and that they can be made and kept for a little bit without having to actually can them.   I also really like crunch so I think I'd like these.

I used to make pickles with a neighbor years back and they were so much tastier than the store-bought variety. We used the old-fashioned canning method, of course, so this sounds so much easier. I'll definitely give it a try! Pretty card. I like the big knife for your title.

Yes I love the knife as a backdrop for the title also. How imaginative. I had a friend who use to can sweet pickles and they were delicious. I have never learned to do that yet. But I definitely want to try this!

I should have noted that the layers are repeated in the colander so that the cucumbers, onions and peppers are distributed evenly between containers.

Ohhhhh.   I love everything about this.  First, it sounds delicious and easy.  Your card is adorable.  I love the cucumber vine/cluster.  And, I agree with everyone else, the title on the knife is brilliant!
