Journaling reads:

When we went for a walk we could hear a Whip Bird but
could not see it as it blends so well into the tree foliage.
I took a photo of the tree as I wanted to then find a photo
on the internet to see what they do look like as I have never
seen one. It is such an unusual call they make and we often
hear them when we walk through rainforests. The area 
surrounding the camping ground where we stayed is very
 untouched but not quite a rainforest because of the lack
  of rainfall in this area.

Oh, my goodness, that really is such an unusual bird call, thank you for including the link!   Your photos are great and for sure - can't find that bird disguised in that tree.    I really like how you interpreted the sketch and the background you chose, they all look perfect together.
