Hollie's Point of View is in L.L. 'Stub' Park and is on a little trail off the main Vernonia-Banks State Trail. It leads to a bench that is overlooking a canyon. In this canyon is Brooke Creek. Only trouble is, you cannot see either the canyon or the creek. the area is very secluded and has a very nice view of trees. They were starting to turn yellow and made for a beautiful view. It was named for Oregon's Washington County Judge Holger 'Hollie' Pihl. The viewpoint is called "Hollie's Point of View", a double meaning for those who knew him, as he was a very opinionated man.
