Holiday Traditions 2021 Wk 1 Skinny Santa

This was one of my Mom's favorite Christmas decorations and now it's one of mine.
Journaling reads:
"This sweet skinny Santa joined our family in the early ‘60’s and was a favorite of my Mom’s. He was always the first Christmas decoration hung up and the last one taken down. And, he still is!"
For this layout I used:
BMU Cottage Christmas Collection Biggie
BMU SS Layout Templates Background Blenders 4
SNU SS Styles Shadow Me
KVE SS Styles
Starburst White
and my own photo

What a lovely memory to still have this favorite of your mother's. When you hang it each year I am sure it makes you feel as if your mother is there with you also. You created a fun title with the alphas.

You've captured such a fond memory here and that Santa must be so special. I like your title with the alpha and how you highlighted your journaling. It's amazing how ornaments can bring so many memories.

I have never seen a Santa like that, and I always love perusing the holiday items at antique and collectible stores since I have a vintage kitchen. What a great tradition to keep this unique Santa.

Thank you!  His legs and arms have metal underneath so he is very bendable and he's put away in a scrunched up fetal-position.  ?  He's about 3ft+ long and I recall my Mom buying him in a department store like Macys.  She has the date we got him written on the back but I couldn't find that photo.  :)

I like the way you complimented your skinny santa with a skinny title! Was a fun memory and tradition to continue with every year. The blending in your background is really nice.
