Journaling- Tyler loves to play Monopoly and has collected quite a few games. There are over 300 different but he only has about 20. Kirsten gave me the idea to get the Original one since he doesn’t have it. I ordered from Amazon and had to sent to their house. I got a note from them saying it was out of stock till Feb. It arived a week later..that sounded a little fishy to me but OK. Christmas he opened it and later in the day we deciede to play it. Well we had a shock, it was not the Original but a knock off made in China!!! not what I ordered. The street names are not the same. dice were tiny, the money was small and very thin. The Chance and Community Chest card were very weird and hard to translate. I called and got a refund, they told me to throw it away...well we kept it and played. we had a few laughs. I went to Walmart and found the game so in the end we were able to Original game. While I was up there I played 4 different ones. Tyler won most of them, he usually wins anyway. It was great fun.

What a shame it was a poor copy :( Glad you managed to get the original. We have the New Zealand version and an old British version at home and love playing monopoly. Great double page :)

Why do they always try to pass off fake Chinese products as the real thing? ? Very disappointing but at least you were able to get the original eventually.

So amazing that that happens but glad you finally got the right Monopoly.    Now I read your story it's so cool that Tyler collects the game.  I enjoyed your journaling and photos.

Here in the UK there's a monopoly version for the Arsenal Football Club and one for my home town of Colchester (and plenty more besdies Im sure). Good luck Tyler with your collection!
