#3 May monthly - Then and Now

It brings home to me again how devastating the flood was for you. Very brave of you to scrap it. The mud brown streak across the back of the photos is a great addition.

Now that is a page that tells a story!!!!!. I sure hope you can salvage the house or at least things inside. I see the high water mud stain on the house....it's horrible. Thinking of you and keep us posted.

It's really terrible. We had floods recently in Durban and hundreds of people were killed. I love the pretty papers and colours. I like the splash of 'mud' .

It must be heartbreaking for you. I imagine your mind went right to these images for the Then and Now challenge. It is a sharp looking page, though, with that polka dot paper.

I like that you were able to scrap this tragedy.  Sometimes we skip the hard things, and I think they are important to document also.  I like your choice of brown for the background and accent.  I cannot imagine the devastation you feel.

What a time! So thankful you are ok. You have taken a heartbreaking event into a lovely "then and now."
