I know this is a little off the topic for what I am reading now, but I am putting these LOs into a folder for future use as a "Grandmother's Journal." I was inspired by a journal I bought for my sister-in-law a few weeks ago (she and my brother have a brand, new grandchild), and one of my favorite questions was "What I read as a child." Reading was really important to me as a kid, and that You've Got Mail quote always spoke to me.

That is so true!  I loved Bezels and Ramona and most of the Beverly Clearly books when I was young and read all of The Bobbsey Twin series too.   I had a few favorite picture books and they remain nostalgic and special even today!  I like how you showed the book covers and your background overlay looks great.  Your border is so pretty.

This is a really meaningful layout. Reading the book titles that you had when you were little is cool, but the bubbles with why they are especially important goes that extra mile. Well done.

This is awesome. Ever since I learned to read in Grade 1, I've never stopped. I love books. I love seeing all the covers of the books. I also like the grid pattern at the back.

What a creative take on the challenge! I recognize so many of these books.  I like how you combined what you read as a child with the explanations on the bubbles from other generations.  This layout will be treasured for sure!
