May Photo Challenge

This is a photo I took many years ago in color, but I like it better in black and white. I added flowers as a symbol of hope. TFL! ABR SS Paper: Blendology Old Paper; ABR SS Paper: Blendology Leaf; BMU Brush Set: WX Stamped Alpha; MRE SS Lifted Doubles - frame; stamp and flower from AFT Treasure; paint from CWX First Snow (re-colored). My photo.

Such an incredible photo and what an important reminder of the value (and price) of freedom. Your spots of red are just the right impact.

I've never been to Berlin and it must have been awful before the wall came down and this is such a dramatic photo of the horror. I was on the west German border in the 60's and I remember vividly the barbed wire/no-mans land and the guard towers with the soldiers with guns along the border so can almost imagine what the people in the East Berlin must have felt.

Your journaling is so sobering and really does remind us of freedom.   Your photo is amazing and makes a great statement in BW along with your spots of red.   Really well done page.

This is remarkable. The graphic aspect of this with the red emphasis is quite striking and emphasizes the horror of it all. The small white flower blended in is a statement of hope.
