Love this, Amy although I have to admit I like the original also!   Your Dad is so handsome and I can see the strong family resemblance with him, too. I like the different embellishments you used and the string and vine down the middle really brings your page together.   This is such a special memory page.  

Fantastic job. I think moving from the angles to the more traditional "newspaper" style blocking was very effective. 

I, too liked the original but this seems more organized makes it easier for the eye to take it all in. Very nicely done!!

I love the design of this: your father's photo really stands out and our eyes travel around the page so that we can take it all in. I'm sure you are very proud of your wonderful father!
