"Bwejuu - back and forth"

Another LO from our recent trip to Zanzibar.

DH insisted on renting bikes and head down the beach! This is just 6 degrees from the equator and very hot even when cloudy...

I'm somewhat "embellishment-challenged", so I've tried to use more embellishments than I usually do... TFL!

Edited 080405: I've made a new version of this one (double LO) and moved this one here

Credits:

"Winter Surf" by Kellie Mize - Background (my photo as overlay)

"Journey Home" by Katie Pertiet - Palm brush

"Waikiki" by Lynn Grieveson - Ribbons, flowers, paper

"Crissy's Summer" by Lynn Grieveson - Word tag

"Seaside" by Katie Pertiet - Netting

"Simpe Torn Edges" by Anna Aspnes

"Curled Paper Edges" by Anna Aspnes

"Aged Alpha" by Katie Pertiet

This is gorgeous. Looks like it comes straight out of a travel brochure. I love the way you create the background from a photo and the embellishments you have chosen are just spot on. I really want to go to Zanzibar now.

Love the 2 contrasting colours, the cool turquoise and the hot pink. I´d leave out the "almost" though. That silver sand and blue sky look exactly like paradise to me...

Well, I think you've mastered your "embellishment-challenged" technique! This layout looks perfect! I love how you used the photo of the bike in the sand as your background paper.

Beautiful!!! I love the overlay of your picture softly in the background and you did great with all of your embellishments. Enough to make it interesting, but not over done. I love the netting and those cool ribbons. Another wonderful layout!

This is just so amazing. I love your embellishments and it doesn't look like you're embellishment challenged to me. Great job. And what a fabulous trip!

Love the way you used the photo as an overlay. The softness of the blue just whispers "come and play in the ocean" Great layout.

Oh, I'd love to be on that beach now as we're having a late (I hope!) winter storm here. Great LO - love how you used a larger pic as the background and I think your use of embellisments is great.
