I think I would like the brown-er sauce! That's a great photo and I especially like how the spatula you added leads us to the journaling. Wouldn't it be exciting if someone has a copy of the recipe and it would be no longer lost?

This is really lovely.   What a special photo of your Mom and it so reminds me of ones I have of my own, doing what she loved best.   "Mothering".   I like how you used the photo large and tacked your journaling onto a pretty tag.   You picked the perfect title and background to match with your Mom's blouse.   It's sad about the recipe, so often as I get older I find more and more things I wish I'd asked all the people who are gone.

What a great photo. Love your title cluster and journaling. I’m still going through mom’s things and have the same problem you experienced - not finding recipes written down - mom just made them and I never thought about how she did it.

Yes, we have had the same dilemma. There are those handful of recipes that I can't believe we don't have. My grandmother's peach pie comes to mind. We have tried and tried to duplicate it, but it is never quite the same.

Such a treasured photo. Her recipe sounds unique and delicious. I have my mom's recipes but a lot of them are illegible. So sad. Thanks for participating in the challenge.

Great photo and journaling. I love the title work. This is why I have given my children recipe books with all my favourite recipes. My mother passed on some of her recipes but not all. It's sad when a family favourite recipe is lost.
