Oh, those Dauphin Island Sunrises

Journaling: There is nothing like a sunrise at the beach. At home I am rarely up for the sunrise, but when at DI I am up most days to enjoy the view. This morning Calvin was up too, and we enjoyed the sunrise together and he also had fun running up and down the sand piles made by the beach restoration. Grampy was also out and then Jared joined us and also snapped some photos. This morning’s sunrise wasn’t only pretty in the east but gave us a spectacular panoramic view.

Creation Details: I started out with a template on these layouts but it wasn’t working for me so I trashed it and did my own thing. There are times when I find templates super helpful, but often it’s just easier to start from scratch because by the time I alter to templates to fit my needs it ends up being more work.
