While Chad worked on Saturday (10/1), I went to see Mike and Jacob’s team race in the “Leaps for Love” Fundraiser at the Highland Speedway. The race lasted for 24 hours! Their team did pretty good until just before I arrived. They blew the engine. I didn’t get to see them race, but I did hang around for a bit to watch the race. Sunday started off with a Senior Portrait session in Carlyle. Chad came to assist. After, we got lunch at a BBQ stand in Carlyle and took it out to Carlyle Lake for a picnic lunch. Then we walked along the dam. It was a beautiful day! On Monday, I went to watch Kenadee play basketball. She did so good! Her team won 28-10. Kenadee scored 2/3 of those points! We celebrated Dad’s 65th birthday on Tuesday. I got him this t-shirt. We are going to have a party later in the month. It’s starting to look like fall! This is a tree across the street from our apartment.
