BMU_Heritage Photos by me. Journaling--The Oregon Trail was 2,170-miles. The first migrant wagon train was organized in Independence, Missouri, a wagon trail had been cleared to Fort Hall, Idaho. We took the very bumpy ride but learned that travelers actually walked because their goods were in the wagon. They were very tough people & really determined to make a better life for their families.

Debby your photos never cease to amaze me in how beautiful they are and these are too!  I love the perspective from the back of the wagon, it must have been so bumpy and those people did it all the time!    Gorgeous page and I enjoyed your journaling, I'm learning so much!

What a great shot out the back of the covered wagon! Your images are really great and I like the way you blended the one and had the other in the oval to really make them look old-fashioned. Those trail blazers really were brave and hardy!

I can't even imagine what those hardy pioneers went through. You had a great experience and I love how you took the photo out of the back of the wagon. Wonderful page!
