I wanted to try something different... a bit more elegent. Im very curious how you all feel about this layout...

CC welcomed as always!

I used:

DEB GardenPath Papers

ABR Day To Day Life Collection

(some items were re-colored to fit color scheme)

What a lovely photo you have here!

I'm not too sure for the CC but I would probably turn the little insert of the feet the same way as in the main picture and maybe take the opacity down on the wee tag and perhaps hang the tag with a chain to the bow. Just my little thoughts. :disappearing-smilie: TFS

I love the colors you chose! I agree with Ngaire about turning the photo of her feet. It flows with the main photo that way. Good for you for going outside your comfort zone!

I love the softness you've created with the rich colors and muted photos. I agree with the above comments about flipping the orientation of the closely cropped feet. The other thing I find distracting is the chain of flowers at the bottom. I would remove them and enlarge that wonderful photo all the way down to the edge of the page to fill that space.

This is a precious layout. The sepia of the photo is nice and gives a quiet, dreamy feeling. Using the large photo and the smaller inset to give focus to the layout works well and makes a nice composition.

Precious sleeping babe! I like the way the picture of her seems to be "cradled" between the top and bottom papers. Just wish I could make out the journalling over the flower.
