Your photos are amazing Jane and those icicles are beyond belief!  I enjoyed your journaling, so hard to think of the River Thames frozen, it must have been such a sight to see!  I like your background and the sparks you added and enjoyed reading your journaling!

Beautiful and your journaling is so interesting. Having lived in the North US most of my life I have seen much snow and huge ice flows on the sides of the roads like your bottom pic. Its beautiful but I love Florida's warm weather with no snow to shovel or ice to chip.

Your faded background pic it gorgeous too.

Your photos are gorgeous! I love the background, too as well as those icy snowflakes you added to the page. I've experienced cold Christmas weather when we lived in the north, and warm weather now in Florida.

some beautiful scenery and what a great story. It is hard to imagine living where winters are warm. The closest I have been to a warm holiday season is last year when we visited my daughter in Texas in December and it was 82F the day we arrived! Icicles are a wonder and I can see why you were captivated. Beautiful photo blending and tinting!

Wow - look at that spectacular display of snow & ice! Yes, for most people they think of these photos when they think about Christmas. Personally, I'd rather be basking in the warm sunshine like you in NZ!
