I wanted to make some more cookies to put together as gifts for some friends and family so I baked some cookies on my own. I loved the Rolo Turtles that Mom made, so I made some of my own. I wanted to use a recipe from Grandma Ann’s cookbook. I found one for Ranger Cookies. They were great! I also tried Cherry Blossom cookies. I wrapped the dough around the Hershey’s kiss instead of putting it on top. It didn’t work too well. I also noticed the cookies tasted salty. Apparently I bought the wrong kind of flour! I got self-rising flour that already has salt in it! I will never make that mistake again!

this was an amusing story to read, and  the cross out in front of the flour is hilarious. Great photos of all the baked goodies, and I like your packaged box with the tissue. I am sure your friends will love your treats. It is nice to see a photo of you with the cookie sheets. Great layout.
