hiding no more

Here is the first scrapbook page I've ever done of myself... my daughter had the camera and took this picture of me the other day. So here it is... tfl!

Supplies:

Paper and brushes: Moody Blues by Anna Aspnes, designerdigitals.com

Fonts: Love Letter and Jane Austen

Journaling:

mom, why are there no

pictures of you? well,

because mommy is almost

always the one behind

the camera. that said,

mommy too freqently

deletes the pictures

that are taken of her.

her face is broken out,

her smile is fake, she

doesn’t like how fat her

face looks, or a host of

other silly reasons...

so here it is, a picture of mommy. she

finally let torrey and emma behind

the camera. somewhere in the middle

of it all, emma caught this picture.

and so mommy decided, after 7 years

of scrapbooking, she’d do a page of

herself. so here she is, finally...

hiding no more

This is gorgeous. And so are you. You should have come out of hiding years ago! :)

I love the brushwork especially. BTW, April is misspelled.

Great LO!

Just wanted to say that I love your layout. I think all of us mothers are always behind the camera instead of in front of it. I don't really like to scrap myself either to often but I know that if I don't no one will and I wonder if my kids will really understand what mommy was all about. I think scrappin ourselves is a wonderful way to leave a leagcy to our children.

Ok, enough rambling from me, just wanted to let you know that your layout is beautiful and honest.

My goodness me!!! Awesome! you are really beautiful. I'm pleased you have allowed your children to take the camera. I hope you allow them to do it more often. This is a beautiful layout to enhance your photo also. Great job!!! And thank you for sharing it.

Yep, I agree with everyone else, you're gorgeous and should be in front of the camera! Love the layout and the third person journaling. Great layout!
