Journaling:

My first two pregnancies were not well documented for this very reason: I swell everywhere...not just in my belly...but in my feet, hands, legs, arms and quiet visably, my face. I have such a hard time looking at photos of myself taken during the last trimester of pregnancy. I look a bit like death - warmed over. However, this time I was determined to capture the changes my body experiences as it nutures a tiny little life...all 38 lbs worth. What an amazing, miraculous, wonderful, paintful, difficult, and long journey. And, oh so worth it in the end when that sweet little baby is laid in your arms. This final photo was taken standing in the hospital, hours before Dylan was born. Don’t you feel exhausted just looking at me! Yikes!

I really like your LO idea. What a good way to look back and see what you looked like durning the 9mos. I wished that I would have done that with my 3 kids. Great job.

Love the kind of sepia tone to this. Great job on placing all the photos, too. Heartfelt journaling. All in all, fabulous layout!

A great memory - I wish I had a record of my pregnancy - but too late for that. I'll probably make a nuisance of myself if my kids ever get around to having children. I'm so glad you scrapped this part of your life, even if you don't like the way you looked. Great job!
