Here's another one from our trip to NYC.

 

Journaling:

What an unbelievable sight. France

gave the United States this statue in

1886 as a symbol of friendship. This

was often the first sight immigrants

saw as they came to this country from

Europe. Seeing the statue in 2007 is

still an unreal experience. To think of

all that the Statue represents; it’s

truly a symbol of liberty and

America. Although we didn’t have

time to go to the Statue, just passing

by on the Ferry was a huge thrill.

Wasn't Lady Liberty just awesome, even from the Ferry she is a wonderful sight to see. Love your use of the corners on the background paper. It seems like they are a part of the paper and not corners added on. Looks part of the design. Love how you put those red, white and blue ribbons behind the photo and your journaling is wonderful.
