Rock a bye baby
Page Kits: Syndee Nuckles "A Collage Unleashed" and "A Waltz to Remember". I actually put these two kits in the same folder because they coordinate so well together, especially the alphas. They're really unique and versatile. I bet I've done 10 layouts so far with them. I also used a couple of embellishments from Kim Liddiard and Lauren Bavin on another site.
Lift came from a special issue of Memory Makers called Celebration Gallery Spring 2007, page 95. The original LO is by Jen Erickson.
Software: Microsoft Digital Image
Font: DSP Amanda
Technique: "Inked" edges
There's actually a couple of ways to do this. If you want a dark ink, then the easiest way is to use the dodge and burn brush set at the highest negative setting. In Microsoft Digital Image, this is -100. Set your brush size fairly small and then just go around the edge of each piece you want inked. If you want a colored ink, then choose edges, art brush. Pick your color, brush shape, and size. With this method, you may have to go back and "cut out" the original shapes to avoid the "ink" that laps over the edges.
