Background paper is from another site and is by Lauren Bavin as well as some of the embellishments.
From "Faithful", I took Mandy Stewards rendition of this Psalms verse and realized it wouldn't show up well on the dark background paper. I therefore, had to use a few filters and chop and paste a bit, but it finally showed up OK. Other embellishments came from Keri Schueller's "Spring Fever". Finally, one embellishment is by Meryl Bartho.
Program: Microsoft Digital Image
Technique: The photo is just a merging of several filters. Initially a soft glow was applied, followed by adding much contrast. The hue was then brightened. Finally, I lassoed the eyes and mouth and sharpened the color on those. The same effect can be used for other software programs.
