"Again" by Ursula Schneider is super fun to scrap with. The colors are vivid and work well with blending LOs or layered LOs. I also used a stitch from Gina Cabrera's "Sew Simple" and a tag from "Spice of Life". There was one tag from a kit entitled "Holiday Bash" from another website.

Technique: Making fonts look like they belong.
I may have read about this technique on this website. It was supposed to be a way to make fonts look like they were "stamped" on. I can't remember for sure, but I've found it works for also making fonts look like they belong. And by this I mean actually written or painted on the tag, background paper, etc.
1. Type in your words.
2. Apply a filter which will give a little contrast to the color. I like to make the original letters black and then apply a "spotty watercolor" filter.
3. With the color selection tool, select one of the more scarce shades and delete it.
4. Then go back and fill in the entire letters with the desired color. This gets rid of the other subtle shades that your filter may have applied and allows you to change the color to anything else.
You'll see that the end result has just scattered pixels where the background shows through. Therefore, the font looks like it was actually painted, drawn, or stamped on rather than just another layer in a digital LO.
