This is my first LO using photoshop CS3. I originally bought PSP X and Ro's scrapbook software secrets but PSP was so slow on my computer that by the time I had made the LO on Ro's tutorial (which was brilliant and so easy to follow) I was really fed up of waiting for each action to work, and had had enough of it. I thought it was because my computer wasn't good enough even though I have a gig of RAM, but recently I downloaded a trial of photoshop and that works ok. Only problem was I didn't know how to use it and there wasn't a scrapbook secrets for CS3 so I decided that if I could manage to figure out how to make a page similar to that in Ro's PSP tutorial but using CS3 then it would be worth investing in it.

I have made this LO, just to remind my DS in the future why we didn't have many photos taken of him when he became 21.

Well I don't want him blaming us Lol.

Gone on a bit too much now, hope I haven't bored you and thanks to Ro and everyone at Scrapgirls for everything.

Forgot to add, the journaling reads-

This is a sketch from one of your 21st birthday photos. We haven’t got many photos of your 21st as you wouldn’t let me take any this year, you had a new girlfriend and you didn’t have time or didn’t want embarrassing. I gave you a scrapbook that I had made but you didn’t have it until the 24th of February, as I waited until you were on your own and insisted that you had your photo taken. I’m sure you will thank me when you’re older and you have a few photos to look back at. TFL

This looks great. I know what you mean about slow programs-grrr. The sketch effect is awesome, and yes I am sure someday he will appreciate all your hard work!

Bee, someday he will appreciate your scrapbooking and the photos you took. My husband wants to keep our children's scrapbooks at our house until they're old enough to really appreciate the books and take good care of them! Perhaps someday you and a really nice DIL will sit down and look through his scrapbooks together & have a few laughs!
