In Memory

Had to do a page in our first five years of marriage album about our dear friend's death. Scott was in our wedding. That's what this picture is from. He died from complications during a necessary heart surgery last August on my birthday. Tony went to college with him, we traveled on a road trip to alabama with him, visited him for a long weekend when he lived in D.C., we played basketball together, and on and on...so many good memories. It still feels like he can't possibly be gone. Being married in college sometimes makes you out of the social loop, but Scott always went out of his way to include Tony and me in events that we might have otherwise missed out on. Heis greatly missed by so many!

The scripture along the right side was handed out at his funeral. I kept it. It gave me hope.

It's always heart wrenching to lose someone, especially when they are young - lovely tribute to Scott.

some things are beyond our earthly understanding. love this photo, I'm sure he does too, though he's not here to say it.

A wonderful memory to include in your album. The sharing of a loss like this is something that cannot be put into words, but your layout says it all. Hugs!
