Journaling reads: Growing up in the city, I looked forward to camping trips, hikes on Old Rag Mt., and visits to relatives living in the “country”. When I grew up & was on my own I realized that’s where I wanted to be; free from traffic, able to see the stars at night, bright blue skies and breathtaking wildflowers, friendly waves returned from passing cars, kids playing on homemade tree swings... It is such a blessing that my daughter will grow up being a Country Girl.
