This page is a result of the Walk Through Tutorial: Extracting a Pattern to Create an Overlay by Jessica Sprague.

 

I used the font "Jayne Print" and covered the brush that was originally on the journaling tag - the tag in the kit looked like a certificate seal but it had the word "sweet" on it. That really didn't fit my pic so I used a bird brush from "Esthers Harmony" BrushSet by and © Anna Aspnes 2006 www.fotoscrapix.com

 

I'm trying to get out of doing the same types of lo and have found that these types of tutorials (also those in EVERY SG newsletter) are a great way to learn a new technique!

Beautiful flowered scrolls. I like the way you altered the tag and stitched it on. Wonderful colors- they go so well with your photo. I like the striped paper you used under your photo too. Really gives your page a little punch. Great job on your LO!
