Summer Vacation 2007

I am really excited to post this page! I created all of the elements from pictures taken while camping last week.

The frame was made from a picture of the rusted metal fire-pit surround. It had air intake holes in it that worked perfectly for a frame opening! I also made the staples and brads from it. It had such great texture.

The birchbark is a picture of a tree near our site. I just roughed up the edges with one of the PSE5 Wet Media brushes set to erase.

The background "paper" and stitching is a closeup of the tent.

Fonts used are: Festus! and Funkhouse (with a bevel added)
