Our son married Michel in the Phillipines about 1 1/2 years ago, and they've been waiting ever since for Michel's immigration papers to work their way thru our government. I just read yesterday that the Immigration Department is really struggling in their attempts to process legal immigrants' applications. Sigh. . . why does it have to be so difficult? We're so looking forward to meeting her . . . almost as much as she's looking forward to her new life in the US.
