My September Desktop

The 18th is my daughter's birthday, so I decided to do my desktop with all my favorite pictures of her. This year's September is the same calendar as on the year of her birth, 1962.

 

I use PSP XI and

KSC Afterglow paper, embellishment and WordArt

TCS A Year to Remember

SNUI Waltz to Remember - flowers

Font: LD Painters Hand

 

It looks rather bare here, but of course, I had to leave room for my icons and my Google Gadgets!

What a wonderful idea and how cool that the month is the same for both of the years. I don't think it looks bare at all since you used the tear and brushwork - that won't interfere with your icons/tools. A beautiful layout and your background paper coordinates nicely with the faded looks of colored pictures from the 60's & 70's.

Very cool idea with the various pictures of your daughter. This reminds me it's time for me to update my desktop too! Great job on the challenge!

WOW...didn't realize 1962 and 2007 were the same. I was also born in 62. But mine is the 12th of April and I was in Germany which made it 11th in the States.

 

I love your layout. Its awesome and kinda soft looking which I like.
