Journaling: "I didn't know that there would be so many surprising things about you, even just at 19 months. For instance, you always keep us guessing when it comes to what food you will eat. You used to eat whatever we put in front of you, but now you have become more discriminating when it comes to your choices. Luckily for me, though, you still eat a lot of good things, like broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, corn, strawberries, bananas, and especially olives. What kid loves olives? Okay, I have a confession to make. I love them, too. I used to eat them out of the can the way that you do now. I suppose it is not bad if you are trying to by like your momma. I have no problem with that at all."
