Think of the Thinks

We were sitting in church when my six year old drew these fanciful creatures. They were so fun I just had to scrap them. I downloaded a photo of a Persian rug off the internet and warped it in Photoshop to create the flying carpet.

Journaling reads:

Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!

Dr. Seuss

We love all the fantastic creatures you create in your wonderful mind.

This is so creative! And your son's drawings-wonderful!What a precious memory to scrap. Can't wait for my twins to start drawing, so I can scraplift this LO! Right now they want to eat the crayons more than scribble.

Awesome LO! I thought he was actually sitting on that rug until I read your description.....you did a great job putting that in thepicture. That was a great idea, scanning his drawings and putting them in this layout, you made a keepsake. Love the quote too, love everything, very whimsical....Great Job!

This is a wonderful layout! So fanciful - so creative - so dreamy! What a great way to keep and showcase his drawings. He will look at this when he's older and know that you really treasured his childhood. TFS and thanks for the great idea!

This is a very eye catching LO! I also thought he was sitting on the rug- you did a great job extracting and piecing the pictures together. I love the idea of scanning his drawings and using them in LO's. I will have to keep that idea for when my peanut starts to draw!

Seeing this lo motivates me to get my scanner up and running! The way you warped all of the wording makes it fanciful and dream-linke, and the drawings are a wonderful personal touch. Great work!!

I love this whimsical LO. You've managed to capture what goes on inside the creative mind and how an artist can get swept away when "in the moment". :superhero:

Love this layout - it totally caught my eye. You did an amazing job with the pictures your son drew and the warping of the carpet and the text . . . it's all very surreal.
