Our little guys were thrilled with this sample of Iron Pyrite we got on a recent trip to Moab, Utah. This challenge seemed like a good way to scrap it.
Journaling reads:
All that glitters isn't GOLD.
Pyrite is called fool's gold because its brassy yellow color is very similar to gold and may mean that the real thing isn't far off.
On a recent trip to southern Utah, we brought home this sample.
