All That Glitters

Our little guys were thrilled with this sample of Iron Pyrite we got on a recent trip to Moab, Utah. This challenge seemed like a good way to scrap it.

Journaling reads:

All that glitters isn't GOLD.

Pyrite is called fool's gold because its brassy yellow color is very similar to gold and may mean that the real thing isn't far off.

On a recent trip to southern Utah, we brought home this sample.

Excellent LO. Great perspective on the photo. You did a fantastic job utilizing the black and white and color idea. Fantastic.

This is wonderful! I love how you pulled the colour out of the pyrite and emphasized it with the photo perspective. An excellent use of space with the photo and journaling and great idea for the title. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent layout for this challenge! And how fortunate that you had just the right picture. LOve the glitter in the title, the pyrite and the edges.

Really outstanding on all counts

:dito: AWESOME perspective on the photo - and recoloring is art unto itself! Awesome arrangement on the title and the added glitter to "glitter".

And did I mention how great that photo is?!
