I was going to try to do challenges in one by combining this challenge and the freebie challenge (which was to include the ampersand). I decided that with the beautiful paper that I used...I didn't need to embellish the layout with the ampersand. This layout didn't take too long....maybe about 2 hours...hahaha. The photos are of me and my hubby over the past few years. They were all in color...but there were just too much colors going on in my opinion...then I tried putting all in b&w...in sepia....I decided to stick with half & half (equal balance don't you think). Tell me what you think.....it's been almost a week since I've done a layout...I may have lost my touch :) Thanks for looking and appreciate any comments.

I agree with you about the balance of the half color and half b&w. i like your brushwork across the bottom to sort of tie it all together. That "&" word art would look nice there in the middle of the photos though.

p.s. nnaaaaa, I don't think you've lost any touch!

You've not lost your touch at all! These are beautiful colors that you've used. And I love the photos. I think I might have had a tendency to go with all sepia, but that would have been boring! The colors in your colored photos go so well with the backgrounds. Great job with the freebies!

This is awesome Jen! Love how you recolored the background and made it bigger then layered the original on top and left half the photos black and white and the rest in color. Its kinda cool!

I like it just the way it is. I like your color choices for a fall month as well. The word art is meaningfull as well. Thanks for sharing it with us.
