When I Grow Up

This is for the "When I Grow Up" challenge. I was definitely not a typical girl! I can still remember being allowed to stay up late to watch the Apollo missons on TV, it was so fun! I was so disappointed when I learned that the Air Force wouldn't allow me to fly becuase I do not have 20/20 vision even with glasses on. I can remember my mother's reactions however when I then decided I wanted to either be an archaeologist or get involved with agriculture. LOL! She nearly fell on the floor which was nothing compared to her reaction when I found out they started letting girls into West Point and I wanted to go, I think she did pass out when she went into the other room! Needless to say I do office work like she suggested... hmmm it's ok I guess. I do have the Internet now though and get to see all sorts of cool stuff! TFL!
