This is wonderful for your 1st feature layout in the newsletter and i just love how you did the poodle. The colours are so suited to the 50's. and I will have to use how you did the frames its a great idea.

Congrats and welcome to the layout design team, Brandy. You've set yourself a high bar with this layout: I love everything about it!!!! Honestly, there are some layouts that just take your breath away and this was definitely one for me. I think my favorite part is the way you composed the photo, the swatches framed by the postage frames, the embellies, and your font choices. Truly wonderful!!! Definitely going into my Favorites folder! :)

Brandy,

This is so lovely! You completely captured the feeling of the time. The composition is excellent and the photos charming. You get better and better everyday. Wonderful work on this one. It deserved to be featured in the NL. Way to go!

I agree with Melanie and Paula, for someone who's only getting better everyday... you sure have set a high bar with this one. I just love your thoughts about how life was simple and the mentality of people in general back then. It was the finishing touch that really made your LO perfect for the time travel challenge. Love it!!!
