Pictures of my dearest Aunt when she was a young girl (and she’s still young at heart!). I can’t help it. These kits just remind me of calicoes and other quilting fabrics and I just had to make another “quilt.” If I were to make this in fabric, it would be quilted just this way – a technique called “stitching in the ditch” in which you stitch down the seam line between the patches.
