I wanted to try Brandy Murry's newsletter tutorial and had a perfect picture for my final Habitat Build 2007 project. I liked the way the picture turned out (kind of blue-print looking) and thought it might work for a title slide. Would love some feedback on whether you think the title works.

I love the layout. The only thing I would do, if it were me, would be to move the title to up upper left corner to get it out of the middle of the photo. That way, you would still have the focus of the big title, but just not distracting from the photo. Just my .01 worth.

Brandy's tutorial has worked really well here!! I think that I like Ann's idea of a small stroke just to make it pop more and I would give Julie's idea a go as well. Thats the cool thing about digi scrapping is that you can play around and it doesn't mess things up.

Thanks for these suggestions. A stroke is a good idea that wouldn't make it pop too much, which I was trying to avoid. I actually was putting the title in the middle to hide a few details of the photo and draw the attention away a little. Also, it is to be a title slide for a running show so the title should really have the initial focus. Is it too strong? I did play with the size and placement but didn't find the layout to be as balanced if I moved the title to the side. I will give it another try and am happy to hear any other ideas for the revision. Thanks again.

I love the photo effect - very well done! I agree with the suggestion about the title - making it "pop" a little more, maybe some kind of outer- or inner - glow? I do like it in the centre like that tho.
