Christmas Card 2007

I make my own cards almost every year since I was very young.

I didn't imagine this year's card would look so red. I like it, yet it seems like something isn't quite finished or added yet.

Any CC is welcome ! :) What do you think??

made with PSE 6

I used KSC Charm of Christmas Collection

This is really cute! OK- so my 2 cents :) ... Could you maybe move your picture bow and the Merry Christmas a little closer together? They might just be visually far enough apart to appear not together. Do you want to add a date or a message? I really don't mind all the red- it is Christmas afterall :)

I just love this adorable photo! I like the idea of moving the photo up closer to the title ... but what about increasing the size of your picture just a bit. Here's another option ... just thinking out loud here, but what about changing your frame to brown and adding a soft green print (maybe with a little white) in place of the plain red BG and adding a drop shadow? That would make your tree stand out and your lettering in your title. Just a thought. But I do think I would enlarge the photo and show off those adorable kids.

I really like the elements and colors you used. Have you tried with the Big Red Bow tails on teh top of the frame? kinda like a gift box would have them :)

Oh, aren't they cute!! I agree with earlier suggestions to make the photo larger....maybe a smaller frame? Would love to see any revisions that you decide to make.

Your children are very cute! I think instead of the white/pink rectangle over the paper, I would try clipping another, contrasting paper to the rectangle, maybe something with a muted design, but a rich color, even an ivory or a green with ivory in it. And you could try putting a different Christmas paper behind the children in the photo. I would make the drop shadow behind the children less intense, maybe take it back to 60% or so.

oh that shadow!! LOL I actually clipped them out of a photo and the shadow is real...I think I'll try erasing some of it. I like the idea of a different paper behind the kids and the frame - I was going for the vellum look ... I have some other great papers to use though.

Thanks A Bunch for the input!!
