Grandma's are always a blessing to their grandkids; Grandma's are usually more relaxed than when they were mothers (apparently, according to my Father!) And great LO too.

I like how your LO has a whimsical feel, but you managed to really get your (more serious) feelings across so well in the journaling. It's so nice when you've been blessed with fresh start on something!
