I Am So Jealous

I wanted to document my activity the week my son was born. I was walking around thinking his birth would be at least three weeks away (till due date) and was kinda thinking that since this was my first child he would be late. HA! Did he have other plans. I used this journal as a snapshot in time to lead up to his birth. It will be used as the opening page in his baby book. This LO was inspired by/lifted from Launa's Hawk and MaryBeth's Wedding LO. I knew I wanted to use the spiral bound notebook template but then I saw her LO with the pocket and I knew I would use this idea. Thanks Launa!

I am so jealous. I just heard that Mahlon had Marlee this afternoon. I just know I am going to be pregnant for three or four more weeks. This baby is going to be late. That is just my luck! Oh well, off to meet Jerri for coffee (decaf, of course) and to get caught up on the PHS gossip.

5:30 pm - Choir Rehearsal

The girls suprised me tonight with a baby shower. We had food, games, cake, presents, and they filled the chalkboard with boy names that begin with the letter "E." What fun! Dr. Boulton and Brian were even there. What a great way to spend my last rehearsal! I am NEVER going to get caught up on Thank-You notes!

8:00 am - Large Ensemble Festival (Fontainebleau High School)

I woke up this morning with a horrible migraine. I do not feel like runing a choral festival today. I want to stay at home in bed. However, I am going to take a pain pill and do the best I can.

9:30 am - Finally, the festival has started. Everyone agrees that I just need to sit at a table and fill out forms.

12:30 pm - Called Pam to cancel my voice lessons this afternoon. My head is pounding!

4:30 pm - I am finally headed home. I called Erik and told him I was going to bed until this headache is gone. I also asked him to come home early. I want to try a new medicine that Dr. Steen gave me but I don't want to be alone in case I have a reaction. I want to be able to enjoy my pedicure appointment tomorrow! I also have another doctor's appointment but I am sure she is going to tell me I am still pregnant.

This is sooo sweet Amy! You did an awesome job! I love all the goodies you used, this is a great way to remember everything that was happening! I think your son will love this when he is old enough to look back and see all the trouble he was causing! LOL!! :D

What a great LO and with all the info he will be happy to have it to read as he gets older! You just never know what is going to happen when you are expecting!

I think this is just fantastic! The pocket idea is just perfect. Such a great way to fit in so many memories. It looks like a real journal as well, you've been very clever and very creative! Thanks for sharing.

Great layout. I love the spiral notebook, and the pocket really adds something extra. I may have to scraplift this one as well. Great job.
