My first running race - it won't be the last

I ran my first 5k the other day and wow it was exhilerating. I understand why Runner's magazine says it is addicting. I will do many more in my future. It also solidified my mantra - I AM A RUNNER!!! Sounds silly but it was a defining moment in my life and I want to remember it always. This is where it all started.

I used the Commotion kit, Time Piece Watch AYO, and My Own Topher Font.

Enjoy the page and I hope it inspires you to find your mantra for your life.

Great LO. I love all the papers and embellis you used. The clock is a good idea and the little pictures of the running shoes. Cool!

Nice job! I like the little insets focussing on the runners. Congratulations! (Now I'm going to point something out because it would drive me crazy if it was my lo and I printed it before I noticed - you have a typo in the journalling - the s & the i are switched around.)

The layout is fantastic! The vellum, the clocks, the insets of the clean and muddy sneakers...what fun!

But you forgot to mention the second goal you had that day. The first was to run the race, and it was COLD! The second was to finish your layout for this momentous occasion that night. So congrats on accomplishing TWO goals that day! I'm inspired:)

Great layout to commemorate an exciting moment! I really like the effect you used to create a frame around yourself in the top photo. Clever use of those clocks too! Congratulations!

Congratulations Bethany! I like the bright geometric paper you've used with your photos. Love how you used the clock to show the time! Looks great! TFS.

Congratulations on accomplishing something this wonderful that you set out to do. I hope you DO have more in the future. I love to run or used to...but with weak ankles now I cannot...I applaud that YOU Can!

This is a fantastic LO! I love the top photo of you highlighted before the start of the race. And the small photo of your shoes is a nice touch. Your Background and embellishments work great as well. Good job and congratulations!
