Snow Day

We had a "snow day", even though we barely got any snow! My husband's day off, and kids had no school, so we had a little fun. I saved this one as a GIF file for the web because it preserved the effects on the title better, but makes the journaling hard to read. This is what it says:

"After a week of hearing about surrounding areas having snow, we finally woke up to a dusting of snow. It was melted before lunch! So we did what any desperate family with snow-envy does... We drove to where there was some real snow. We headed east of Salem on Highway 22 and found a good little spot on a back road. The guys built a snowman (which looked more like a giant snow stalagmite), Andrew made a snow angel, and we enjoyed a mellow snowball fight.

What a wonderful day you guys must have had. Looks like a lot of fun. I love that background photo you used as your background paper and all of the wonderful photos that you took. Love the double page layout. Thank you so much for sharing one of your fun times in the snow.
