Taylor's Madrigals 2007

My oldest son is a senior in high school this year, so this was his last Madrigal Singer season. :( Of course, he wanted me to do a page to remember all the fun of the Madrigal Dinners last December. What an incredible blessing it has been for him to have 3 years as a Madrigal Singer!

This is magnificent Susie! Superbly magnificent. Your choices of color and textures so put these madrigals in their proper setting. The peeling paper, the brick background, the heavy hinge and the tattered frames are all perfectly applied choices. Excellent cut-out job on your group and I just love the extra little touch of the 'date stamps' on the library cards.

Wow! This is a very striking page! The paper is perfect, and I love the deep shadow that you put around the cut-out of the group of them. Really makes that picture stand out. Great layout!

Susie,

I was just thinking of you, no kidding. I logged on and saw this amazing layout. Your sons are so lucky to have such a loving and TALENTED Mother to create a record of this time in their lives. Your page has so much great texture, the colors and use of type are perfect for the theme and the photos really tell the story. AWESOME!

This is such a lovely layout. I've been searching for inspiration for layouts for my daughters concerts. She's also a Senior and her advanced chorus is Madrigals, although they don't wear the awesome costumes that your son's group has.

Definitely holding this in my favorites.
