I made this LO a couple of weeks before Christmas to let off a little steam on some harmless Scrapbook page. At least the scrapbook page doesn't have feelings to hurt. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas. I LOVE to give gifts, but I get tired of the pressure to give gifts and give everyone an equivalent gift. I have a large family, as does my husband. We don't have much money to buy gifts and making individual gifts for everyone is a lot of work (even when it is the same thing for each sibling.) This LO was me blowing off frustration.

Absolutely!!!! I hear you. Just put your foot down and tell them next year it's at your house and they can all come see you.

 

I'm behind you 100%. By the way, I'm going to be gone for Christmas. Want to use my house for a boarding house then? :disappearing-smilie:

 

Everyone is entitled to a scrooged attitude now and then.

I can so relate to this. We get pulled in so many directions that the joy of Christmas and the true meaning of it is lost in the hustle. Nice way to get your feelings out and show the rest of us we aren't alone when we feel this way.
