Oh, Caroline! What an incredible story ... I am sooo glad you captured that here in a LO to be remembered forever! So sorry your brother had to go through this, but so glad "something" brought you two closer! I love this handsome LO .... love the torn paper and the string across the top. The filmstrip of photos looks incredible here. And adding your journaling to the "book" is so perfect for pulling this all together. AWESOME JOB, MY FRIEND!

I love the tan and the gray together and the journalling book is a wonderful accent. Glad he's doing well.

You've done a magnificent job with this manly layout. The colors, textures, the embellishments and the placement all work so well together. Wonderful photos, and of course, your touching journaling. The story this layout tells could stand alone and still be wonderful - with your excellent skills you've made it into a thing of beauty to be treasured.

This is so wonderful--I love all the stars and circles you scattered about, and the string at the top and the papers you chose. Just beautiful. And what a touching tribute to your brother. Something that goes in a very special place on the wall. Maybe his AND yours! I'm so glad he made it through okay. Cancer is just so scary.

Caroline, this is such a wonderful layout - the journaling is so touching and I loved that you wrote it in the journal book, I'm sorry about your brother's cancer - but to know it has created a bond between you two that is so strong and bound by no strings - that it is quite emotionally uplifting. Fantastic Layout!
