Simple Joys
Journalling reads:
To my Son,
As I watch you play, the thougt occurs to me that one day, someday in the very near future, you will grow up. Upon growing up, you will lose that innocence that makes you Leo. You won’t look at everything with a sense of wonder. You won’t get excited over a bag of M&Ms. You won’t run to me in the morning and snuggle. You probably won’t want me to tuck you in and read you just one more book. Someday, you might not want me to cut your food up or help you change your clothes. You won’t squeal with excitement when you see a tractor in the field. You most likely won’t want me to give you big smooches on those adorable cheeks of yours. These are some things that happen everyday and when you grow up I will miss them dearly. Remember to keep some innocence! It is truly what you are made of! Loving you aways, Mommy
